inadequate / spring 2016
a durational anti-performance piece archiving my physical ailments throughout my first year at art school from a doctor's viewpoint: an abundance of chiropractic forms and images illustrating my multitude of visits to various doctors' offices, thus creating a conversation dissecting the futility of the medical industry to decide on a single diagnoses and therefore establishing myself as a study, a specimen, of said industry; an object of an experiment; a tactile & visual discussion on my body's durability in contrast to the chaotic mental & emotional distress that this continuous physical, but impermanent, pain has caused me.
